The new GT series evolves the legendary G series into a lighter, sportier package while preserving the smooth progressive action and tippet protection trusted for nearly 50 years. These rods introduce the newest version of X-Core design, resulting in the thinnest-walled blanks ever produced for maximum sensitivity and strike detection. By combining multi-modulus layups with ARC2 multi-directional fibers, the design increases recovery speed and provides greater stability and accuracy during the cast. Furthermore, the reimagined hollow internal ferrules are now 20% lighter, allowing them to flex in tandem with the blank more seamlessly than ever before. Together, these innovations create a multi-piece rod with such incredible transmission of feel that it performs with the unified soul of a single-piece blank.
